Tweens Creative Quilting Studio

$50.00

Wednesday, October 28 | 4–6 p.m.

Is your tween interested in quilting, but not sure where to start? Do they have a creative quilting project they want to make, but need help with design or techniques? In this small-group session tweens are invited to work on their own creative quilting projects. If they need inspiration, we’ll have pre-cut fabric squares to jump right into sewing patchwork!

Tweens will have access to:

  • A rainbow of solid fabric scraps

  • A variety of hand quilting thread and embroidery floss colors

  • Marking tools including inktense pencils, fabric markers, and more

  • Sewing machines and a wide range of sewing notions and tools

  • Books and other resources

All materials above are included; there may be additional materials we can provide, but if there is something highly specific to the project, you may need to supply that.

Ages 8-13

Julia Triman is a quilter and quilting teacher fascinated with the creative process and the philosophy of creativity. She shares her quilts and creativity stories at quiltingjulia.com.
