Learn to make a simple, gathered elastic-waist skirt in this fun, beginner-friendly workshop! This is a quick sew and a great project for a Saturday afternoon. Make a skirt for yourself, your kid, a friend, or even as a handmade holiday gift. You’ll learn how to measure, cut, gather, and sew your skirt with a comfortable 2" elastic waistband.
All materials are included.
Beginner-friendly, all skill levels welcome. Participants should be familiar with how to use a sewing machine. Ages 16+
Becky Jane studied pattern making and design at Apparel and Arts in San Francisco, and has been teaching sewing and pattern drafting for 10+ years. She’s also the owner of By Becky Jane where she creates and sells custom apparel and accessories.
