Are you a new quilter looking to master the small but mighty Half-Square Triangle? Half-Square Triangles are some of the most versatile building blocks in a quilter’s toolbox, and there are endless ways to combine them to create different designs and layouts. Choose your own adventure and create your own version of a half-square triangle quilt top (up to 24” square). Sign up for the piecing series (3 sessions) and add optional Hand Quilting (1 session) and/or Binding (1 session) if you want to learn all the steps to complete your quilt!
We will cover:
Session 1: Planning, cutting squares, and marking pairs for two-at-a-time HSTs
Session 2: Piecing blocks, cutting, pressing, and trimming
Session 3: Piecing quilt top
Optional add-on sessions to learn the steps to complete your quilt
All skill levels welcome, ideal for confident beginners. All participants should be familiar with how to use a sewing machine.
