Add a handmade touch to your holiday table—or create a thoughtful hostess or gift set! In this cozy, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to sew a variety of napkin styles, from simple hemmed edges to lined napkins with trim and elegant mitered corners.
What we’ll cover:
Cutting and preparing fabric for napkins
Sewing clean, even hems
Adding decorative trim
Creating lined napkins and mitered corners
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a finished set of napkins ready for gifting or for your own holiday table.
What to bring (optional):
Feel free to bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours. If you have the perfect holiday table setting in mind, feel free to bring your own 100% cotton fabric!
Skill level: Beginner and up – great for anyone comfortable threading and using a sewing machine.
Becky Jane studied pattern making and design at Apparel and Arts in San Francisco, and has been teaching sewing and pattern drafting for 10+ years. She’s also the owner of By Becky Jane where she creates and sells custom apparel and accessories.
