Kids Stitch a Story
Sunday, April 19 | 2-4 p.m.
A fun, hands-on workshop just for kids ages 7-11! In this 2-hour class, kids are invited to draw or write a story and then bring their story to life in fabric! Kids will have lots of options, including hand or machine appliqué, embroidery, and fabric markers and watercolor pencils to add details to their textile story.
All materials and machines are included, but kids are welcome to bring their own machine if they have one. Beginner-friendly, kids should be comfortable using a sewing machine.
Caregivers are welcome to stay and participate or watch, or leave and go run those errands you’ve been putting off!
Julia is offering a 50% scholarship spot for each of her workshops for people who self-identify as needing financial assistance, for any reason. The scholarship spot is first-come, first served. To claim the scholarship price, use the code JULIASCHOLARSHIP-KSS at checkout.
Julia Triman is a quilter and quilting teacher fascinated with the creative process and the philosophy of creativity. She shares her quilts and creativity stories at quiltingjulia.com.
