Join Becky Jane for a hands-on workshop focused on practical mending techniques that will help you extend the life of your favorite clothes. This class will focus on repairing denim and woven garments, covering common repairs such as patching holes, reinforcing worn areas, repairing seams, hemming, and creating visible mending that is both durable and beautiful.
Whether you're new to sewing or looking to build confidence with clothing repairs, you'll leave with practical skills you can use again and again.
This class includes:
Step-by-step instruction
A printed mending zine filled with techniques, tips, and illustrations to take home for future repairs
Practice materials and supplies used during class
Students are welcome to bring one or two clean denim or woven garments in need of repair for guidance during the workshop.
Becky Jane studied pattern making and design at Apparel and Arts in San Francisco, and has been teaching sewing and pattern drafting for 10+ years. She’s also the owner of By Becky Jane where she creates and sells custom apparel and accessories.
