Learn to sew the Snow Top by Julesm Smit in this relaxed, two-day skill building garment sewing workshop! The Snow Top is a beautifully designed wrap-style top with clean lines and a timeless silhouette.
This class is designed for adventurous beginners who are comfortable using a sewing machine and ready to take the next step into garment sewing. Over two days, we’ll work through the full process together: cutting fabric, constructing the wrap front, sewing ties, and finishing seams, with plenty of individualized guidance along the way.
All materials are included, so you can show up ready to sew. Each student will receive:
2 yards of fabric curated specifically for the Snow Top
A printed Snow Top pattern to use during class
A digital copy of the pattern for future makes
We’ll cover fabric layout, reading and using a garment pattern, construction techniques, and fit tips to help you feel confident continuing garment sewing on your own.
This is a small, supportive class with lots of hands-on help, making it perfect if you’ve been wanting to try garment sewing in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. You’ll leave with a Snow Top and the confidence to keep sewing garments at home!
Becky Jane studied pattern making and design at Apparel and Arts in San Francisco, and has been teaching sewing and pattern drafting for 10+ years. She’s also the owner of By Becky Jane where she creates and sells custom apparel and accessories.
